Serving the STL Metro Area
The things people ask us most, before they buy โ washability, customizing your setup, custom orders, delivery, and more.
Is it really 100% washable?
The covers are. Every cushion cover unzips and goes straight into a standard washing machine โ no dry cleaning, no special detergent. The foam and fill underneath the cover isn't washed directly; it's the removable fabric shell around it that's machine washable, which is what actually gets dirty day to day.
What's the fabric like?
Depends on the line โ our 121 and 140/120 setups use a soft cotton-and-linen or chenille blend, while 141 is wrapped in a thick wide-wale corduroy with more texture. Every listing tells you which fabric that specific setup uses.
Are the couches new or used?
Both โ it varies by piece. We photograph the actual real inventory ourselves, so what you see in a listing is the true condition of that specific piece, not a stock photo. If something isn't brand new, we'll point that out before you buy, not after.
Can I customize the color or shape?
Every line comes in a handful of configurations (L shapes, U shapes, ottomans, etc.) and a few real colors, and you can pick any combination that's currently in stock. If the exact setup you want isn't shown as available, message us โ we can often tell you what's coming in or what's possible from current inventory.
Can I put in a custom order?
Yes. If you have a specific piece count, shape, or color in mind that isn't currently listed, call or text (636) 696-6645 and we'll work with you on it โ subject to what we can actually source. We'd rather have an honest conversation about what's realistic than promise something we can't deliver.
What do "In Stock" and "Out of Stock" badges actually mean?
They reflect our real, current piece inventory for that exact shape and color โ not an estimate. If a badge says out of stock, it means we don't currently have enough of the right pieces on hand to build it, though that can change quickly as new stock comes in.
Can I buy directly through this website?
No โ there's no online checkout. Every order is confirmed directly with Dawson or Grant by message or phone before anything changes hands. That's by design, so you always get a real person and a real answer before you commit.
Do you deliver, or is it pickup only?
Both. We deliver locally out of Festus and O'Fallon, MO (and beyond โ just ask), or you can pick up in person, which is usually the cheaper option. We'll let you know which warehouse is closer once we hear from you.
How fast can I actually get a couch?
Often same-day or next-day. We're a small, local operation, so scheduling a pickup or delivery usually comes down to your availability and ours, not a shipping calendar.
What are your hours?
We're available most days from 3โ8pm โ that's the best window to call or text (636) 696-6645 for the fastest response. Message us anytime and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.
Do you assemble it, or do I have to?
Every piece ships flat and self-assembly is simple โ the sections just snap together, no tools required for most setups. On lines where we offer it, we can also assemble it for you for an added fee; check the specific listing's spec table for that line's terms.
What payment methods do you accept?
Cash, Venmo, or CashApp. We don't currently offer financing.
What's your return policy?
All sales are final โ we don't accept returns. That's exactly why we photograph the real, actual piece and describe its true condition up front, and why we're happy to answer as many questions as you need before you buy. If something arrives different from what was described, message us directly and we'll make it right.
Are all the photos real?
Mostly, yes โ the majority are our own photos of our actual inventory, taken in the garage or driveway before it sells. A handful of listings still use a manufacturer stock photo where we haven't gotten our own picture yet, and we always label which is which right on the photo.
What's the difference between your different lines (121, 141, 140, 120, 142)?
They're different builds and colorways โ some use corner-and-middle pieces, others use left/right-facing pieces with a wedge connector, and each comes in its own set of colors. Visit our About page or browse the showroom to see how each one is built and what makes it different.
